Over the past few weeks, Principal Ellen Kraska visited each class to share the book Yefferson Actually, which features a boy who gains the courage to correct others when they mispronounce his name. Classes talked about how our names connect to family, culture, and identity, and had fun playing a name game where each student taught Mrs. Kraska how to pronounce their name. She loved seeing their confidence and enthusiasm!
